The EBIS Division maintains stewardship over the ever-evolving Business IT portfolio of applications and systems required to support JPL's robust and complex business processes. EBIS manages the full system lifecycle across all major business processes provides analytical and technical services and strategically partners with the Laboratory's business community to ensure continuous delivery of business IT services. Key initiatives include a business intelligence program data analytics and embracing agile methodologies and tools.
**Responsibilities:**
- Work with users to gain understanding of business processes
- Guide users through the complex process of providing meaningful requirements and help them discover their real business needs
- Help us streamline the requirements process by developing processes and procedures for future projects
- Remain in regular contact with users throughout the project to present prototypes conduct demos problem solve allay concerns validate requirements etc.
- Engage with development staff through all phases of SDLC
- Maintain setup and configuration of Oracle applications along with other COTS applications
- Develop use cases and user stories
- Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces and dashboards
- Perform data analysis and exploration in support of projects or ad-hoc requests
- Build test plans and lead SIT and UAT efforts
- Provide estimates and schedules to project management
- Help drive our products to greatness
- Keep our products fresh and relevant by proposing improvements as business needs change or as new features become available
- Support daily operations and maintenance as needed
### **Required Qualifications:**
- Bachelor degree with at least 6 years of information technology experience; or Master’s degree with 4 years of related experience in Computer Information Systems Computer Science Business Administration Finance or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as systems analyst or business analyst
- Experience supporting applications used in either Contract Management Financials or Project Controls
- Experience supporting two or more of the following Oracle EBS Applications: Accounts Receivable Cash Management Cost Management General Ledger Project Costing or Project Manufacturing
