- Define and source production equipment fixtures and tooling for new products.
- Ensure scalability repeatability and robustness of manufacturing assets.
- Act as a central liaison between Design Engineering Production Quality and Program teams.
- Lead cross-functional readiness reviews and participate in gate reviews during the product development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and qualify contract manufacturers and suppliers for industrial capability.
- Drive capacity and capability planning for internal and external manufacturing sites.
- Strong background in mechanical electrical engineering manufacturing engineering or industrial engineering.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)**

Job Summary
The **Machine Learning Engineer III** will be a member of the Learning and Active Perception (LEAP) group in AV’s MacCready Works division and develop a variety of innovative computer vision (detection classification localization and tracking) and other analytics solutions for defense and commercial applications. These development efforts will require a range of skills and tools across traditional engineering computer science and mathematical disciplines including but not limited to computer vision machine learning optimization deep convolutional neural networks and visual tracking. This position will work on all stages of development including requirements definition concept design prototyping detailed design test and evaluation and validation and verification testing.
**_Duties_**
- Support development of computer vision and machine learning (ML) algorithms capable of detection classifying localizing and tracking objects of interest from a variety of stationary and mobile sensor platforms
- Implement ML algorithms and validate designs through a series of purpose-designed experiments
- Analyze ML algorithms to solve a given problem and rank them by their success probability on new data
- Set objectives and develop models that help achieve them along with metrics to track their progress
- Select appropriate datasets and data representations
- Analyze errors of the model and design strategies to overcome them
- Write and test software to support the integration of machine learning algorithms into aircraft (such as autopilots payloads or other functional components) or other systems

**_Experience_**
- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with C C++ and Python required
- Proficiency with a deep learning framework preferably PyTorch
- Proficiency with basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas

**Job Description**
Summary
The primary responsibility of the Final Assembly Technician II will be to test assemble Medium Unmanned Arial System products in our manufacturing facility following released engineering and redlined drawings and assembly instructions using our work order system. Assembly and Test activities involve integrating purchased assemblies such as cameras radios and radars with internally manufactured line replaceable units (LRUs). The position entails learning the theory of operation of the integrated UAV and its subsystems working with LRIP teams and Engineering to determine proper placement of new components and optimizing wiring and layout to ensure proper center of gravity (CG) and cosmetics of the finished product. Work with the Flight Ops and CQIP teams to incorporate lessons learned and foster continuous improvement of product and process.
Position Responsibilities
- Primary duty is the mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and or power tools. Some soldering may be required.
- Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles
- Testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies
- Works with other Production Technicians and Engineering to correct and improve upon any documents related to the assembly process at the required high-quality standard.
- Works with manufacturing engineers to improve assembly efficiency improve product quality reduce manufacturing costs and validate released assembly fabrication documentation.
- Responsible for ensuring that work order protocols are followed and that work order paperwork is completed as the work is performed.
- May also train other technicians to build a product or follow an established assembly process.
- May conduct in-process quality checks to ensure that items built are to established high-quality standards.
- Follows established procedures on routine work and may require instruction on new assignments.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required or equivalent combination of education training and experience.

- Experience with hand tools including crimpers drills taps torque wrenches power tools and air tools is required.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics is desired.
- Ability to solder as part of assembly function and duties.
- Must have good manual dexterity and basic computer operation skills.
- Must have strong oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with employees in the Company.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Lead coach and develop a team of Supplier Quality Engineers across multiple commodities (mechanical electrical etc.).
- Oversee daily production support activities including issue containment supplier SCARs and material review board (MRB) involvement.
- Ensure timely response to supplier-driven nonconformances and production quality issues to maintain manufacturing flow.
- Support long-term supplier development initiatives including APQP PPAP and readiness for new product introduction (NPI).
- Support critical events such as Product Readiness Reviews (PRR) technical design reviews and readiness assessments to ensure product and process alignment at the supplier.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering Supply Chain Operations Program Management) to align supplier quality activities with business needs.
- Drive supplier audits root cause investigations and implementation of robust corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop monitor and report supplier performance metrics (DPPM SCAR closure rates audit scores readiness indicators).
- Participate in supplier selection and risk assessments for critical programs or sourcing decisions.
- Represent the Supplier Quality organization in high-level cross-functional meetings and executive updates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards including AS9100 ISO 9001 ITAR and customer-specific quality requirements.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)**

**Summary**
The primary responsibility of the **Production Technician II** will be to test assemble Small Unmanned Arial System products in our manufacturing facility following released engineering drawings and assembly instructions using our work order system.

- Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles
- Testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies

**Job Summary**
The **Machine Learning Engineer III** will be a member of the Learning and Active Perception (LEAP) group in AV’s MacCready Works division and develop a variety of innovative computer vision (detection classification localization and tracking) and other analytics solutions for defense and commercial applications. These development efforts will require a range of skills and tools across traditional engineering computer science and mathematical disciplines including but not limited to computer vision machine learning optimization deep convolutional neural networks and visual tracking. - Support development of computer vision and machine learning (ML) algorithms capable of detection classifying localizing and tracking objects of interest from a variety of stationary and mobile sensor platforms
- Implement ML algorithms and validate designs through a series of purpose-designed experiments
- Analyze ML algorithms to solve a given problem and rank them by their success probability on new data
- Set objectives and develop models that help achieve them along with metrics to track their progress
- Select appropriate datasets and data representations
- Analyze errors of the model and design strategies to overcome them
- Write and test software to support the integration of machine learning algorithms into aircraft (such as autopilots payloads or other functional components) or other systems

**Summary**
The **Quality Engineer (QE) III** is accountable for the overall delivered quality of products and or services to customers and ensures quality controls are met. Summary
The Engineering Flight Test Specialist I acts as remote pilot in command for unmanned aircraft systems or vehicles for flight testing developmental testing acceptance test protocol (ATP) and various internal and external demonstrations.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepares detailed post flight test reporting and is required to report follow and ensure adherence to all safety protocols
- Provides pertinent feedback to various department personnel on observed aircraft performance

**Summary**
The Supervisor Quality Engineering leads a team of Quality Engineers (QEs) to drive process improvements enhance First Pass Yield (FPY) and ensure compliance with AS9100 standards. - Support and manage internal and external audits including regulatory and customer audits.
- Drive initiatives to improve First Pass Yield (FPY) Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) and other key quality metrics.
- Oversee process capability analysis on key product characteristics and implement effective Inspection and Quality Plans.
- Ensure New Product Introduction (NPI) quality deliverables are met per program requirements.
- Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to improve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Interface directly with customers to address quality concerns and ensure their expectations are met.
- Apply Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing and Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in manufacturing and support process improvement projects.

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field is required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Quality Engineering within the aerospace industry.
- 1-2 years of experience in a management role or leadership experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of ISO 9001:AS9100 AS9102 standards and audits
- Strong communication collaboration and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build credibility with interact with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally as an effective business partner; well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.

As a **Sr. Software Engineer (Applications)** one works with and is mentored by a talented group of engineers in a fast moving collaborative Agile development environment. In this role one plans designs develops and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
**Position Responsibilities**
- Build up embedded Linux applications to control complex networked environments.
· Develop web-based UI to support soldier created networks on the battlefield.
· Work with program and engineering leadership to help understand requirements and influence design analysis and testing to ensure robust application reliability.
· Work with cross-IPT disciplines such as Systems Electrical Hardware and Test Engineering to align hardware and software goals.
· Operate in a continuous learning environment and provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience)**

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science Electrical Engineering or any other relevant field is required.
· Minimum 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in Windows and Linux software development.
· Experience with Linux application development.
· Expertise in the following: C++ and Python.
· Strong experience with containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
· Experience with developing web applications.
· Understands lower level networking concepts including the OSI model socket programming and network debugging.

· Advanced degree in relevant field is preferred.
· Understanding of DHCP IPv4 IPv6 Linux bridges network stack internals.
· Experience with Python-based web frameworks like Flask and FastAPI.
· Experience with communicating to and controlling UAS drones or robotics is preferred.

- Ability to work in an office environment (Constant)
- Required to stand and sit for long periods; talk hear and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)
The salary range for this role is:
$124 370 - $176 400
