**Simulation Software**
Bring your experience & ideas to create Aircrew Flight Simulators developed for military and commercial simulation programs. While being an integral part of the Core Engineering organization work closely with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) customers and subcontractors. Hone your technical abilities throughout the full software lifecycle spectrum while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
**What you'll be doing as a Simulation Software Engineer**
Take part in the organization planning development and management of aircraft training environments to meet program and customer-defined requirements.Develop and integrate software and real-time math models to produce simulated avionics physics-based aircraft models communications weapons sensors distributed simulation interactivity etc.Create data interfaces for avionics Ethernet serial and other protocols.Perform analysis of complex systems integration issues.Perform Configuration Management for developed software.Interface with pilots customers and subcontractors throughout product development and acceptance including design & milestone presentations.Support the software development life cycle from requirements definition coding integration deployment and acceptance.

Developing internal software processes for satisfying RTCA DO-178C objectives.

Primary interface with military certification authority for certifying Bell and supplier software.
With minimal supervision conduct software certification SOI audits alongside military customers Bell software quality and other stakeholders.

**Propulsion Integration & Analysis**
The successful candidate will be deployed to the Mechanical Systems Engineering Team to lead the propulsion system integration build and testing efforts for the demonstrator aircraft. **Mission Computing Integration Manager** **Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA)** Responsible for guiding the development certification and integration of IMA systems and data definitions. This role involves managing and coordinating a team of engineers to achieve execution goals and customer requirements. **What You Will be Doing as the Mission Computing Integration Engineering Manager:**
Direct and mentor a team of engineers in the development and implementation of IMA systems.

The Flight Test Engineering team at Bell is responsible for safely executing all development and certification test activities for all novel civil and military programs. **What you'll be doing as a Flight Test Engineer**
- The flight test engineer role is an integral part of the test team that will:
- Work closely with engineering Integrated Product Teams and experimental pilots to establish and implement evaluation requirements into test plans covering aircraft performance flying qualities and systems flight testing.
- Plan track and coordinate daily flight test activities to include preparing test cards pre-flight briefings considering instrumentation maintenance and configuration change requirements.
- Direct the execution of test flight from a telemetry room or participate in the aircraft as an aircrew member.
- Update the Bell flight test reporting database analyze flight data and prepare test reports.
- Coordinate with appropriate engineering and external groups in the planning and resolution of technical issues.

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Ability to obtain an FAA Class III FAA Medical Certificate.
- 5 years of related experience in experimental test evaluation and risk management
- Articulate verbal and written communication.
- Travel up to 20%

**Airframe Design Engineer:**
Bell is seeking a self-motivated Airframe Design Engineer to join our engineering team and support the continuing development of our new products.
The Airframe Design Engineer is responsible for design activities related to the preparation and release of engineering data related to the development of this aircraft.
This position must maintain compliance to the Airframe Design Manual Best Practices Customer and Regulatory Specifications Bell procedures Program Directives and annual CRC requirements
**This position is onsite at the headquarters of Bell's Ft. Worth TX or onsite at Bell's Wichita Kansas location.**
**What you'll be doing as an Airframe Design Engineer :**
- Create airframe structural designs based on trade studies research and analysis.
- Create model-based definition which includes 3D annotations for detail assembly and installation of airframe components and engineering bill of materials.
- Coordinate with other engineering manufacturing or specialty personnel to resolve problems.
- Mentor other engineers and lead the team in developing technical solutions
- Specific tasks include responding to data action requests from procurement manufacturing tooling etc.
- Execute Tasks to Cost and Schedule Requirements.
- Support supplier teammate design activity.
- Support test activity including test plan development execution and reports.
- Apply technical knowledge standards principles theories concepts and techniques to provide solutions to a wide range of difficult problems.
**Qualifications**
**Skills You Bring To this Role :**
- PC proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate design activities and report status to program management.
- Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers internal and external suppliers as well as horizontal integrations across the other teams to complete design tasks.
- We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.
**What You Need to Be Successful:**
- Bachelor's degree with a Major in mechanical or aerospace engineering. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
- Multiple levels of experience will be considered with at least 2 years aerospace structural design. 5 plus years of aerospace structural design experience is preferred.
- Proficiency with GD&T and general part sizing.
- Proficiency in CATIA 3DX.

**Propulsion Integration Engineer (across multiple levels)**
Bring your experience and ideas to help us develop and manage suppliers for the main gas turbine engine and auxiliary power unit on manned and optionally manned aircraft.
You'll work with customer and hardware requirements to help inform technical specifications within the Propulsion system and then manage supplier efforts to qualify the product.
This role will be an integral part of the team working closely the customer other IPTs and suppliers. You'll be able to hone your technical abilities on significant engineering problems all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.
**What you'll be doing as a Propulsion Integration Engineer:**
- Work closely with other teams to complete design trade studies to optimize the system key performance parameters.
- Support the mechanical integration of propulsion systems and components into the aircraft.
- Manage component supplier activities to include design documentation and qualification.
- Support aircraft flight test activities with troubleshooting data reduction and creation of test reports.
- Manage problem resolution and change proposals.
**Qualifications**
**Skills You Bring To this Role:**
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in supplier management.
- 3-D geometry creation using CATIA or similar product.
- Solid understanding of the relationship between requirements design solutions and successful qualification.
- Ability to prioritize work strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a team player mindset.
