Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly experienced **Teamcenter PLM Development Analyst**. The employee will be responsible for designing developing and sustaining the Teamcenter PLM platform. The selected candidate will implement functionality based on the direction of the PLM Architect and customer requirements and directs the development of functionality interfacing Teamcenter with applications.
_Note: This role may be performed 100% virtual (work from home). Virtual and or work from home arrangements are subject to change based on the needs of the business._
A successful background includes customizing **Teamcenter Workflows** Workflow handlers using **C++** **TcU** **RAC** **Active Workspace** integrations with 3rd party tools and **BMIDE**.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Researches designs develops and or modifies enterprise-wide systems and or applications software.
- Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards.
- Evaluates interface between hardware and software operational requirements and characteristics of overall system.
- Documents testing and maintenance of system corrections.
**Basic Qualifications:**
- Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant software development experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant software development experience; OR an Associates degree with 11 years of relevant software development experience; OR a high school diploma with 13 year of relevant software development experience is required
- Must have at least 4 years of software development customization experience with **Siemens Teamcenter Unified ** which includes the related experience in troubleshooting debugging and upgrading the software
- Must have at least 4 years of experience integrating software components (and third-party software) with Siemens Teamcenter Unified or an equivalent Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system
- Must have at least 4 years of experience creating functional specifications by collaborating with IT and customer teams to determine scope project expectations detailed design documentation and supporting internal integration and user testing which includes evaluating user feedback
- Must have at least 4 years of software development experience in Object Oriented Software Development C++ Java JavaScript JSON BMIDE along with code management systems like TFS SVN or Git
- Must be able to obtain (and maintain) a DoD **Secret** level security clearance as a condition of continued employment
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Active Secret level security clearance
- Teamcenter workflow development
- Teamcenter installation and maintenance procedures and methods
- Experience with other applications like NX or CATIA Xpedition or Capital
- Experience with Teamcenter Aerospace & Defense and access controls including ADA and Access Manager
- Experience working with Microsoft TFS or a similar system
- Must be proactive and able to complete assignments independently with minimal oversight on tight schedules

**Salary Range:** $124 900 - $187 300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience education skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior PLM software developer to provide support for the Mission Systems Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) program. This program consolidates multiple existing PLM systems into a centralized PLM environment that forms the foundation for the Digital Transformation of NGMS Engineering and Manufacturing. The PLM environment contains Engineering and Manufacturing product and process data for the sector and will integrate with other software systems including ERP MES and multiple CAD Engineering authoring tools. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on implementing Digital Threads and Digital Twins which are exciting in the current end-to-end digital product development environment. This position will allow for a remote work arrangement.
The selected developer will work with existing team members to analyze design build and implement software changes to deliver the future sector-wide PLM system. They will work in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment with many teams across the country with Engineering and Manufacturing SMEs to harmonize sector processes and business rules and to create a PLM system for the future. This position will provide a great opportunity to work with experienced engineers who work on integrating vendor-supplied tools requiring heavy customization and coding in C++ for Teamcenter (supplied by Siemens) product and XML mapping coding for the integrator tool (supplied by eCube). In addition to working with and picking up experience in new technical areas this position will also provide exposure to business acumen in terms of understanding business transactions workflows interactions between various systems etc.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
- Analyze plan develop test and implement Teamcenter configurations in an Agile environment.
- Develop and support integrations with other applications required to interface with the Teamcenter via custom-made or in-built APIs.
- Analyze and model data to map between the different environments.
- Propose and design development solutions based on architectural guidelines and solution roadmaps.
- Debug problems end users report by working with the appropriate technical teams to develop test and implement fixes to prevent recurrence.
- Participate in code peer reviews and contribute towards the community of practice.
- Track requirements tasks and test cases using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Maintain proper software configuration management using Git.
- As necessary provide support for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
- Provide demos and support to users as required.
- Work with C++ or Java to create and or customize modules in Teamcenter.
**Basic Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant software development experience or a Masters degree with 10 years of relevant software development experience or a PhD with 8 years of relevant software development experience; a High School diploma or equivalent with 16 years of relevant software development experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree.
- 7+ years of Teamcenter Unified customization experience to include creating updating workflows adding enhancing handlers Code level customization using ITK BMIDE AWC etc.
- Experience working on enterprise-wide PLM projects on a Siemens Teamcenter Unified platform that are part of the larger vision of digital transformation goals such as Digital Thread and Digital Twins.
- At least 5 years of experience in a lead role and or guiding less experienced developers with proposing design solutions and or patterns based on existing architectural runways.
- Experience working in an Agile team and collaborating on team cadences such as sprint planning backlog refinements etc.
- Experience working on system integrations between Teamcenter and other downstream systems such as SAP.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- The ability to work remotely with a geographically diverse team.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Working experience and exposure to engineering and manufacturing environment processes such as EC MC EBOM MBOM BPO etc.
- Experience with Teamcenter integration using other engineering authoring tools such as NX or CATIA Xpedition or Capital.

The Tracking Systems and Application Section provides world-leading capability and expertise in a wide range of technologies that are critical to spacecraft tracking and related applications. The Section supports algorithm development calibration and validation of NASA’s satellite altimeter missions as well as NASA's deep-space missions by providing to the JPL navigators unique and extremely precise radiometric sources and data types. The Section provides the Deep Space Network (DSN) with precision atomic frequency and time references and distribution systems. The Section also delivers to JPL navigators a host of other products that are required for deep space navigation such as celestial and terrestrial reference frame coordinates Earth orientation parameters and calibrations to account for the effects of the Earth's troposphere and ionosphere on radiofrequency metric tracking data-types.
For terrestrial and near-Earth users the Section offers the highest accuracy Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)-based positioning and timing products and services. The Section also performs extensive scientific investigations using its technologies in the areas of planetary dynamics astrophysics astrometry and radio astronomy gravitational waves geophysics and fundamental physics.
**Responsibilities:**
You will be a Research Technologist in the Near-Earth Tracking Applications (NETA) Group leading and undertaking innovative research and development in algorithms calibration and validation of NASA’s satellite altimeter missions including but not limited to the Jason and Sentinel-6 series SWOT and CRISTAL. Work in teams to lead and contribute to research and development of science data system algorithms and calibration validation activities for the suite of JPL-supported altimetry missions: Jason-1 Jason-2 Jason-3 Sentinel-6 SWOT and CRISTAL missions. Contribute to the end-to-end calibration and validation of each component of the measurement system and the science data products for these missions. Apply established approaches and contribute to the development of novel approaches for calibration and validation of satellite altimeter measurement systems to identify and mitigate errors in those systems. Lead analyses of pulse-limited and synthetic aperture radar data and development of novel algorithms to process those data. Lead routine quality control calibration and validation of science data products for these missions. Lead publications in the peer-reviewed literature as well as presentations at professional society and altimetry mission science team meetings. Develop and contribute to proposals to support related research activities. Use skills in Python and C++ to develop new or maintain existing satellite altimeter measurement system calibration and validation tools.
**Required Skills:**
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Math Physics or related technical subject area with typically a minimum of 9 years of related experience; or a Master's degree in similar subject areas with a minimum of 7 years of related experience; or PhD in similar subject areas with a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
