Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a **Principal ** **Senior Principal Airworthiness Engineer - Aircraft Certification** to join our team of qualified diverse individuals within the **Office of Independent Airworthiness (OIAW)**. **This position is based in San Diego CA with a hybrid work arrangement.**
The Principal Senior Principal Airworthiness Engineer will be working within the Airworthiness Engineering Directorate supporting certification efforts on various air vehicle platforms. The selected candidate will ensure the logical and systematic realization of customer airworthiness certification objectives into system solutions to meet program needs throughout the product lifecycle (e.g. Flight Releases Type Certification continued airworthiness and operation of airspace integration).
**Essential Duties:**
- Performs technical airworthiness planning and verification support including development and negotiation of airworthiness plans bases of certification means of compliance and other certification activities for complex total systems with IPT REs as well as customer counterparts.
- Reviews and coordinates with other airworthiness engineers as well as internal engineering disciplines performed across the total system to include design fabrication test installation operation maintenance and disposal.
- Performs functional and process analyses requirements allocation and definition studies to translate customer requirements into criteria and derived requirements. Ensures the logical and systematic realization of customer airworthiness certification objectives into system solutions to meet program needs throughout the product lifecycle (e.g. Flight releases Type certification continued airworthiness operations and airspace integration).
- Responsible for managing and maintaining airworthiness evidence in support of a Military Flight Releases and Air System Continued & Continuing Airworthiness as a member of the technical AW staff.

**Basic Qualifications:**
- Basic Qualifications for the Principal Airworthiness Engineer are a Bachelors in STEM discipline with 5 years to include a background in airworthiness or Master's with 3 years experience to include a background in airworthiness.
- Basic Qualifications for the Sr Principal Airworthiness Engineer are a Bachelors in STEM discipline with 8 years to include a background in airworthiness or Master's with 6 years to include a background in airworthiness or PhD with 3 years to include a background in airworthiness.
- Familiarity of MIL-HDBK-516B Expanded and -516C
- Work experience leading the development of Airworthiness plans a Basis of Certification and related activities
- Work experience with domestic and international UAS RPAS airworthiness authorizations and type certifications

- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.

Northrop Grumman Enterprise Corporate Facilities is seeking a talented motivated and creative Lead Engineer to lead our multiple Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for our Digital Operations team located in Northern Virginia. The portfolio covers hundreds of sites across the United States.
We are looking to hire a skilled Subject Matter Expert (SME) familiar with multiple CMMS tools such as Maximo (IBM) Maintenance Connection L2L and Corrigo to oversee the management of all aspects of allocated projects and efforts surrounding the use of these tools. Maintenance CMMS software enables maintenance teams to optimize their activities by allowing them to easily track work orders maintain assets and schedule preventative maintenance.
As the CMMS Lead you will be responsible for developing and implementing project strategies creating and developing schedules implementing standardized facilities maintenance methods optimizing operations consolidating multiple tool instances establishing data standards driving data harmonization and maintaining project documentation. This role will also require the CMMS lead to establish and drive data governance processes become the primary SME for tool issues and to develop and implement a sustainment and optimization strategy for the future of NG maintenance applications and processes.
Additionally the CMMS lead will administer the CMMS tools at the enterprise level coordinating help desk access and standardization of CMMS policies and information. They will coordinate standards definitions and data management across all CMMS tools with intent to streamline and consolidate these tools for efficiency and improved analysis and reporting thru visualization and reporting tools like HTML Tableau. Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be a major challenge for this leader. They will be tasked with cultivating knowledge resources as well as managing personnel and contractors vendors with a goal to enhance the internal NG customers capabilities to manage CMMS tasks and data.
Ultimately the job is to effectively manage multiple CMMS efforts to maximize the use of the tools implement new capabilities expand and disposition the capabilities of tools and develop new and more extensive data incorporation (to include improved data consistency and accuracy) to reduce costs increase efficiency and improve documentation and reporting. CMMS tools disposition to include Trade studies best practices for NG requirements as well as optimization and consolidation strategy road mapping. Integration of CMMs tools may include implementation of new tools sunsetting and decommissioning of old tools consolidation of multiple tool instances to enterprise capabilities and data functionality migration.

**Role Description and Responsibilities:**
- Drive CMMS capabilities:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a senior PLM software developer to provide support for the Mission Systems Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) program. This program consolidates multiple existing PLM systems into a centralized PLM environment that forms the foundation for the Digital Transformation of NGMS Engineering and Manufacturing. Northrop Grumman Cybersecurity is seeking an experienced Splunk Administrator to join a dynamic team of technical professionals. This role can be performed 100% virtually. This could change due to business conditions.
**Roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):**
- Perform as a member of the Splunk Administrative team responsible for engineering administration deployment troubleshooting and maintenance for a large-scale enterprise network. Implement and maintain Splunk platform infrastructure and configuration involved in standardizing Splunk forwarder deployment configuration and maintenance across UNIX and Windows platforms.
- Monitor and maintain Splunk performance availability and capacity – Storage performance CPU Memory Forwarder installations and patching upgrades.
- Create & customize Splunk dashboards visualizations configurations using customized Splunk queries reports scheduled searches and alerts Splunk workflow actions KPI services and undertake day-to-day operational and user support.
- Create and maintain CIM conformant Splunk knowledge objects
- Configuring and maintaining Splunk environments (e.g. multi-site clusters SmartStore heavy forwarders).
- Perform occasional travel to customer or other Northrop Grumman sites in support of troubleshooting testing and deployment activities.
- Make recommendations to purchase hardware and software coordinate installation and provide backup recovery.
- Work under minimal direction and independently determine and develop approach to solutions.
**Basic Qualifications**
- Master’s degree with 6 years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience; or 3 years with PhD OR an Associate's Degree with 10 years of experience OR a High School Diploma GED with 12 years of experience.
- Candidates must have or be able to obtain a current DoD Top Secret level security clearance with an original adjudication date or a periodic reinvestigation completed within the last 6 years and the ability to maintain an active security clearance to be considered.
- Current Splunk Enterprise Certified Administrator or Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect certification(s) or the ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Experience in Splunk architecture and its various components (indexer search head deployment server heavy and universal forwarder)
- Advanced proficiency with Splunk Search Processing Language to create complex queries dashboards and report.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with configuring and maintaining large advanced Splunk environments (e.g. multi-site clusters SmartStore heavy forwarders).
- Experience with Splunk system design and advanced architecture.
- Strong knowledge in Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to data ingestion indexing and search performance.
- Hands-on experience using regular expressions to manipulate data index and search time field extractions.
- Experience operating in Cloud multi-Cloud and hybrid on-premises cloud environments (e.g. Amazon Web Services Microsoft Azure)
- Experience with Syslog daemons (e.g. syslogd rsyslog syslog-ng).
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible Salt Puppet etc.
- Experience using scripting languages (Python Bash etc) to automate repetitive tasks and deployment processes.
- Experience performing and operating in an Agile framework (e.g. Lean-Agile SAFe)
- Efficient proactive responsive team player with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in communicating with various levels of leadership and able to interface effectively with all levels of corporate management.
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deliverables. Hands on self-starting disciplined and detail-oriented individual with ability to work independently in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent technical document preparation and writing skills.
**Salary Range:** $133 000 - $199 600
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience education skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage life and disability insurance savings plan Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and or personal business.

Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Supplier Performance Management Field Engineering team. This team supports programs with suppliers across the United States and Internationally.
**The location required is in the New York region.**
**This position works a 9 80 schedule and will travel an estimated 75%.**

- Initiate Corrective Action Plans and work with suppliers manufacturing and engineering personnel to identify root cause and ensure robust corrective actions are implemented.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify suppliers’ process issues and developing solutions
- Perform process and product audits along with capacity assessments to ensure the supplier's processes are robust and capable as well as compliant to Military and Space requirements.
- Effectively perform supplier surveillance activities designed to manage and improve supplier performance productivity and process validation.
- Apply technologies scientific principles theories and concepts to analyze and audit our suppliers’ processes and capabilities.
- Capable of leading cross-functional teams in pursuit of performance improvements aligned to department and organizational goals
**Basic Qualifications for a Supplier Quality Engineer 4 are:**
- 8 or more years of experience in Quality Manufacturing or Design Engineering and or 8+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
- US Citizenship required.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 requirements
- Must be able to travel up to 75% of the Time
- Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action
- Demonstrated skill to lead teams and projects
- Demonstrated knowledge of J-STD-001 IPC-A-600 610 620 or Mil-Std-883
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Possess current DOD Secret Clearance.
- Experience working in the defense industry.
- Process knowledge and manufacturing engineering experience in PWB CCAs microelectronics RF devices electro-mechanical systems and Power Supplies.
- Certification in J-STD-001 IPC-A-600 610 620 or Mil-Std-883.
- Experience with Space Requirements
- Six Sigma or Lean certifications.
- Lead auditor experience to ISO 9001 and AS9100 AS9102 requirements.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ANSI Y14.5M)
- ASQ Lead Auditor CQE CQM Certification
